If you were wondering what Cara Emilia has been doing lately. . . . Well she was planning her wedding.
Benjamin and I were married on June 6th, 2015. We were married in our friends pear orchard. It was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We said "I do" and danced the night away.
We honeymooned. We got our house back together. Sent out thank you notes.
Now it's back to real life and back to work. There is no more planning to do, no more list to check, or relatives to call. That means there is time to blog and share what I was able to create for our wedding!
We wanted a country/farm/vintage themed wedding with pinks and greens. Succulents were our flowers. Being the artist that I am I decided to draw and create many of the paper elements myself. There were many late nights and long days of me drawing, printing, and cutting while dreaming of the big day and our future married life. I loved creating all the elements of our wedding. It was a fun way to personalize our event.
For our wedding I hand created: -Save the Dates -Invitations with maps and RSVP cards -Table Numbers -Seating Chart -Wedding Program with maps and a fun personalized drawing of the wedding party -Personalized koozies for wedding gifts -Honey Jar labels for wedding gifts -Bride and Groom Cake Topper -Thank you cards
To be honest I really loved creating all of these personalized elements for our wedding and would love to incorporate wedding invitations and paper goods into my art business.
