Intuitive Painting
Take a breath, close your eyes, let the music play, and let yourself paint without any inhibitions or agendas. This is my new favorite style of painting and I don't know why it took me so long to actually do this! It's a wonderful brave expression where every stroke of paint is a story. Each painting is created in acrylic paints on either canvas or birch wood panels.
Koi in Blue
Koi in Blue is a painting project that mesmerized me. No matter how much I resisted I was enchanted by all the various markings and colors of koi. Their colors and the contrasting whites, lavenders, golds, bright oranges, and reds with the blue water are just endlessly beautiful. I tried to capture the beautiful colors, forms, and graceful movement of koi in this series. Each piece is an original acrylic painting on either a birch wood panel or canvas. I experimented with size in this series. Working on a large scale and small to create a wide variety of art pieces, all celebrating the beautiful and majestic koi.

Living Wall Project
Small wood panels of various sizes, each with one beautiful succulent painted in acrylics. They are put together in these beautiful panel collages to make a living vertical garden of different depths and shapes. A vertical garden is composed of so many different succulents that all bring something unique and beautiful to the composition. Each panel collage was a creative experience and vary in size and succulent variety.
